Myron Leo Baker, 76, of Rock Hill, SC passed away suddenly Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1941 in Herkimer, NY, son of the late Leo and Sophia Burchycki Baker. He was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Lupinski and Lillian Shoemaker.
Myron proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked as an assembler for Chicago Pneumatic and was a faithful member of the Reformed Church in Herkimer, NY. He was a Master Mason and a member of the American Legion in Rock Hill, SC.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 53 years, Barbara Butler Baker; daughters, Susan Orozco and husband, Oscar of Rock Hill and Debbie Mitchell and husband, Matthew of Rock Hill; two grandchildren, Emily Mitchell and Erika Mitchell; and a brother, Donald Baker and wife Cathy of NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
