Carl Fredrick “Charlie” Moyer, 63, of Richburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 2, 1954 in Houston, TX, son of the late John Henry Moyer, III and Mary Elizabeth Hughes Moyer.
In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Warren Moyer.
Charlie was a faithful member of First Assembly of God in Rock Hill.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 12 years, Ann Johnson Moyer; daughter, Amanda Lynn Johnson of Richburg; granddaughter, Kaylin Michelle Johnson; brothers, John Henry Moyer, IV (Leslie) and Matthew Timothy Moyer “Wendy”, all of Hershey, PA; and sisters, Anna Mary Beatty of East Hanover, PA, Nancy Elizabeth McCulloch “Joseph” of State College, PA and Mary Louise Langlois “Brian” of Erie, CO.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, October 20, 2017 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Gaskin officiating. Interment will take place at Ott Cemetery in Branchville, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charlie’s memory to: First Assembly of God, Men’s Ministry, 1089 Edwards Street, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
