Ruthanne Black Anderson, 54, of Rock Hill, passed away suddenly Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was born February 12, 1963 in Russellville, KY, daughter of the late Johnson Thomas and Betty Sue Smith Black.
Ruthanne graduated from the University of Georgia and worked as a Pharmacist with Harris Teeter in Rock Hill. She was an avid sports enthusiast, pulling for her Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. She also enjoyed attending the Winthrop Women’s Basketball games
She is survived by her sisters, Gwen B. Harden and husband, Heyward of Winnsboro and Candi B. Mitchell of Rock Hill; nephews, Hydrick Harden and Smith Harden and wife, Meredyth; nieces, Jennifer Mitchell and Allison Mitchell; and many close friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home in Rock Hill. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
